"The eyes of the future are looking back at us and they are praying that we see beyond our own time" - Terry Tempest Williams

Welcome to Southeastern Idaho & the Portneuf Valley Audubon's web site! By promoting the conservation of natural resources, educating others about wildlife and the need to live in harmony with our surroundings, we hope to promote and safeguard the welfare of birds and their habitat.

We hold monthly meetings from September until May. We kick off the season in September with an afternoon of birding around American Falls Reservoir often followed by a potluck in a nearby park. In June we conclude the year, after our annual fund raiser with a potluck at the Mink Creek Group Use Area.
Our monthly meetings are usually held the third Thursday of the month at 07:00pm at the Marshall Public Library Community Room. We publish the PVAS monthly news letter which contains information on that months speaker and field trip (click below for latest PVA Newsletter) - Update to Feb News Letter: To Carpool for for Eagle roosting at Camas NWR meet by 3:30 p.m. in the lower ISU Campus parking lot by the Bison Sculpture behind the Idaho Museum of Natural History Building (5th and Dillon).
